Notes for Overhaul in Each Stage of Cone Crusher

The overhaul of the cone crusher can be divided into minor overhaul, mediumoverhaul and heavy overhaul. Under normal circumstances, the overhaul should be proceeded according to the pre-preparation equipment and the date formulated by the scheduling cycle chart. You must consider the order of the minor overhaul, medium overhaul and the heavy overhaul, interval, overhaul period and service life of the various parts and components when you draw up the maintenance cycle chart. You should carefully keep technical information record  of inspection, measurement, adjustment and repair, replacement, and maintenance projects of various types of maintenance. You should also predict the next maintenance project and amount of work so that the maintenance work of the whole equipment can work normally. You must proceed the commissioning and technical determination of the equipment after the heavy overhaul and complete acceptance certificate of equipment overhaul work.
The cycle of the minor overhaul is generally 3 to 4 months. The contents include the followings. The first content include all the items that need to be repaired. Second, replace the fixed umbrella plate or movable umbrella board. Third, filter or replace the oil. Forth, sweep and clean each relevant parts of parts and components. Fifth, repair and replace the eccentric shaft bushing. Sixth, replace some of the parts. Seventh, check and repair spherical bearing contact situation and the fastening extent of the bushings. Eighth, check and repair the drive shaft and sleeve.
The cycle of the medium overhaul is generally 12 to 18 months and themedium overhaul includes all items of minor overhaul. In addition, you should note the following aspects. First, replace the bevel gear and big bevel gear (or eccentric shaft). Second, replace the babbitt eccentric shaft bushing. Third, replace the drive shaft sleeve and the spherical bearing. Forth, check and measure the gap between the bottom of the dynamic cone and the thrust disc. Fifth, check and measure the gap between the spherical bearing and the end face of the eccentric shaft. Sixth, replace parts of the springs and screws. Seventh, check the wear pattern of the spherical bearing and body, conical torso and vertical axis. Replace the parts if necessary. Eighth, check and repair the bronze eccentric shaft bushing and tapered vertical shaft bushings.
The cycle of the heavy overhaul is generally 6 to 10 years and the heavy overhaul include all the items of the medium overhaul. In addtition, you should also pay attention to the followings. First, all parts and components should be checked, measured, repaired or replaced. Second, check, repair or replace the adjustment ring, support sleeve, springs and screws. Third, check and repair the body of the machine. Forth, correct the technical performance of the entire crusher.
