In order to check the grinding fineness and evaluate the working efficiency of grinding and crusher machine and the grading equipment, sampling is common and necessary for the discharging ore in the grinding process. In the processing procedure, the particle characteristics of the raw materials should be kept. The specific processing procedures are the followings.
The first process is shrinking. Usually, the shrinking process is carried out in the pulp shrink splitter or the splitter. In the operation process, the splash of the ore samples should be prohibited. The ore samples and the rinse water should be evenly poured into the shrink splitter so that there is no great difference between the samples after splitting.
The second is filtering. Before filtering, you should weigh the paper first and record the weight in one corner of the filter paper and folder good sample labels. You should carefully check if the filter holes of the filter plate are clogged. When the filtering paper has been laid, turn off the vacuum pump or the exhaust valves and use the water uniformly wet the filtering paper. Gently press the edges of the filter paper and the filter disc wall with your finger. After filtering, turn off the vacuum pump or vacuum valve, remove the filter paper and dry the ore sample.
The third is drying. The sample drying is often carried out in a special oven. When different samples are dried at the same time, the sample with high grade should be put at the lowest layer, while the sample with low grade should be put in the upper layer. In addition, the temperature of the oven should not be too high, and the temperature should be generally maintained at between 103℃ and 107℃. You should carefully check if the samples are dried. At regular intervals, take samples from the oven for weighing. If the adjacent two weights are constant (i.e. constant weight), it indicates that the material has been dryied.
The forth is weighing. Weigh the materials taken from the oven.
